Church Flooring Plans And Designs

Church Flooring Options
Hardwood flooring, porcelain tile, marble tile, vinyl and carpet are all commonly used materials for churches and worship sites. The choice of materials should be made based on your overall worship site but also on the volume of congregants using your site regularly. There are pluses and minuses to all material and choosing the right material now, could save on repair later. As an example, many churches think hardwood is too pricey in relation to carpet. However, hardwood floor made of true red oak or other hardwood will last 100 years or so, vs 20 to 25 years for carpet.
Church Flooring Ideas
Porcelain tile is often overlooked as an option for your flooring needs. Porcelain comes in many colors and can mimic real marble tile, at a fraction of the price. Porcelain tile is incredibly durable and requires almost no maintenance. For floor use, we buy only “non skid” flat finish so when wet you do not have any concerns about safety.
